Reference information for writing Letters to the Editor

Letter to the Editor should be the heading on all letters. Deadline to get your letters in for all papers is every Friday at noon. The newspapers' requirements for letters is 300 words or less. At the end of each letter put your name, address, and daytime phone number or they won't print it. Most of the papers usuallycall you for verification. Choose your words carefully so your letters are powerful. Cite evidence to back up your claims.
