I think we should be there with signs and literature about supporting H.R. 1207 as well as opposing H.R. 3996. There's no reason to try to get people to speak at it (committee hearings are dog-and-pony shows, strictly for PR and the legislators are all but playing poker back there) but if we had say 10 people circulating Stop HR 3996 lit to attendees and maybe media and holding up signs (if we brought little 9"x12" paper signs they couldn't stop us from bringing them in, and could have a simple message like "STOP Bankster's Paradise HR 3996) it could shake them a little. HR 3996 hasn't even broken in the media yet and if they see there is already opposition to it organizing and it it's the same people who supported HR1207... it might stir things up a bit.-

No David. We didn't do it this year. Late notice without a plan. Most of the activists I know have been getting some well-deserved post-election rest. I was one of them. We will plan something for 2012, that will be of higher visibility than prior years. Keep the faith.

Found this little gem which covers between 1860 and 1932. Very informative with the central bank, ruinous "free trade" policies the Britain used to maintain empire, and few other things. Thought some may enjoy this, although I don't care for the "glorification of FDR that they have in this one, since he too sold We The People down the river too, to the Wall Street banksters.

You have no property rights in this country, not since 1933. Thats when the USA went bankrupt, and all land and biological material (you) were pledged to the bank as collateral for new loans. When a parent registers a child the child is pledged to the state who places a monetary value on a piece of paper called a birth certificate.
You pledge your car to the state by registering it, ( you gave title to the state ) , and you did it with your home, you pledged it in exchange for benefit privlidges. You gave your home to the state who turned it into money for them , and you pay them ( property taxes) to do it to you . when we register these things we give the state a lien interest , just as if we had gone and pawned them, and as long as we keep making the payments we are allowed to use them. But stop paying and see what happens. It's fraud and racketiering, and if we start standing up to them the whole fed monopoly is gonna collaps. Learn to redeem yourself from their pledge system by doing the redemption process, and we are one step closer to an end to the fed.

Detroit, MI – Disappointed constituents and supporters of Federal Reserve Transparency will protest a recent vote by Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick this Friday (July 9th) outside her Detroit office (1274 Library, Suite 1B). The picketing will start by 4:00 PM. Those present will be protesting Kilpatrick’s reversal on supporting the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009, which she voted against on June 20th after having been a cosponsor.

Kilpatrick was a cosponsor of the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009 when it was HR1207. The language of the bill later included in the House version of Financial Reform legislation, but later removed in conference with the Senate. A recommital motion by the house would have returned Federal Reserve Transparency to the bill, but 114 cosponsors of HR1207 reversed course and voted against it. Kilpatrick was among those.

One of Kilpatricks constituents is David Dudenhoefer of Detroit who said, “Of the 320 co-sponsors of the bill to expose the fraudulent activities of the Federal Reserve bank, 114 voted against the people and chose to side with the bankers, Mrs. Kirkpatrick was one of them. According to polling data, over 80% of the public wishes to have the first full audit of the Federal Reserve preformed since 1914. The members of the house that voted against it, did so in betrayal of the will of the people.”

Another Detroiter from her District was Scotty Boman who said, “Federal Reserve System policies have a profound effect on the economy as a whole, but the people who suffer most are those who are in poor communities, or fixed incomes. People like her constituents. This isn’t about partisan politics, this is about selling out Main Street for Wall Street. My union recently endorsed her, but I will be calling on the leadership and my fellow workers to retract it.”

The Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009 was an act "to amend title 31, United States Code, to reform the manner in which the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is audited by the Comptroller General of the United States and the manner in which such audits are reported, and for other purposes."
