Let's start a discussion about ways to use Twitter to spread the message of Ending the Fed.

First you need to set up a free twitter.com account if your don't already have one. Next, post updates about our movement, this Ning site, etc. Then start 'following' some people. This is kinda like adding them as friends. Then keep posting more news and messages that inform and get people to join the endthefedusa.ning.com and our movement.

I already have two Twitter accounts set up for End the Fed: /endthefedusa and /audit the fed

I just don't have time to really do much with them.

One of the tasks I am planning on making available is ETF Twitter Manager. That can be you if you like. We can then have a ETF Twitter Team assisting you.

I have some time to donate to ending the fed, and could handle the job of Twitter Manager.

Here are some things that could be done.
1. Use a twitter account like http://twitter.com/auditthefed and post updates about the status of legislation, events around the country, links to articles blog posts and videos...

2. Search Twitter for people mentioning 'end the fed' 'federal reserve' etc and follow them. Hopefully a high percentage would follow back and read some of the tweets (posts) I make.

3. Encourage members of the Twitter Team to find info to post.
4. Try to get members of endthefedusa.ning.com to use twitter and re-tweet our messages.
5. Encourage people to tag their tweets with #endthefed, #auditthefed etc.

This really isn't a lot of work, it just takes some consistency and maybe an hour a day. If we could get a large group of people to dedicate 15 min a day we could really spread our message.

I'll try to be on the weekly call on Tuesday and mention this.

Great Stephen. This is exactly what we need if we are going to get serious and WIN. I made you the ETF@Twitter manager and you now have access to the group page. I created a link to you on the page identifying you as the Manager. I also embedded the #auditthefed feed as an RSS feed on the page. I sent out tweets as annoucements about all this.

Yes we need to announce this on the call on Tuesday! This is a great example of what we need to be doing.
