November 22nd, 2009 - End the Fed Sign Waving in Berkeley and Rally in San Francisco

The event will be a huge sign waving rally over the I-80 overpass in Berkeley!!!!!
So what has our economy come to? Will we be witnessing the death of the US dollar and the collapse of America as we know it? After trillions of dollars were pledged and created by the Federal Reserve to bail out and transfer wealth to the biggest banking institutions, our real economy has staggered. So who will the pundits blame? Greed? Free markets? Lack of regulation? Lack of more bailouts and more government intervention? Most people do not know what we know... we can see beyond the propaganda spewed by establishment stooges and gatekeepers ... who is to blame they ask??? The Federal Reserve!!!!
As Henry Ford once said:
It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.

Let us begin the awakening.......We are the revolutionaries... this is our revolution.... we must End the Fed! End the Fed! End the Fed!!!!!
There will be ten lanes of constant traffic under the Freedom Overpass and we will get hundreds of thousands of views to awaken the masses!!! If we have a big group on the overpass the effect of our big End the Fed signs will be magnified... come along with creative signs, but make sure they are BIG so people can see it from their cars below.... an effigy of Bernanke? pictures of a printing press or burning dollars?
When: November 22nd, Starting at 9:00am - 6:00pm
Where: pedestrian/bicycle overpass (aka the Freedom Overpass) over the I-80 freeway off the University
exit in Berkeley, Calfornia that leads to the Berkeley Marina

There is a parking lot on the Marina side of the overpass where we can tailgate all day... please bring food/refreshments/ lawn chairs and we can make this a potluck/tailgate event. Please also bring video cameras to keep the occasionally police officers that come by in check.
There will also be a march in San Francisco later in the afternoon so that event will be up on our site soon.. please feel free to join in both the End the Fed events...

A New Way Forward.org now supports Audit The Fed!
Please list your ETF and Melt The Switchboard Day event on their site ASAP. They do not fall in line with our principles 100% but they have an issue with the banks. Organizers should read about there platform so you know how to educate their supporters about the REAL problem, The Federal Reserve System. Email me with any questions.

- I hope to see all you there on April 25th. We are also having a flyer and outreach event on April 1st (federal reserve), and April 15th (post offices and airport).

my car that day. Do you know of anyone carpooling from the Sacramento area? I live in Marysville, about 40 miles from Sacramento.

- Great!! We're not just sitting in front of the Federal Reserve building. We should get lots of coverage in that case and some exercise. We need some signs. I'm going to put my nieces to work on some.

The Fery building is right at the Bay on The Embarcadero, in San Francisco.

This google map hopefully shows the Federal Reserve building relative to the Ferry Building. However this is not the route we will be taking on the march.
Schedule - Saturday, November 22
Meet up at the Ferry Building at 10:00am or earlier and start the march at 10:30am. (Those that get their early can try to recruit people to join the march..) We will march from there along Market St to Union Square and then go back up Market St. to the Federal Reserve Building where will meet at the Federal Reserve Building at noon. Attached is a map of the march route. The route is approximately 2 miles and an estimated 39 minutes by walking. The march will be slow so we can expect the march to take 1 hr and 20 minutes (twice the normal pace). Those that don't want to march can just meet up at the Federal Reserve building at noon.
Parking on Davis St/Broadway: $6 all day on weekend
Speakers (12 noon)
So far we have Carol Brouillet (Green Party) and Anthony Gregory (Libertarian) confirmed to speak.
Update: It seems that we may be able to get Cindy Sheehan.
