Operation: Write On!

There are approximately 2000 daily, weekly and Sunday newspapers in the United States. Letters to the Editor are a time honored measure of public sentiment as well as a means of influencing the opinion of politically aware segments of the population and steering the editorial content of the publications addressed.

Operation: Write On! will leverage the strength of the popular movement to Audit and then End the Fed into greater pressure on our elected representatives in Washington to pass HR 1207/S.604 and to block the expansion of the Fed's powers.

Participating is easy and highly effective. Here's some steps you can take right away:

1) SELECT A NEWSPAPER. These links are directories of newspapers. Peruse these listings and select a few papers to send your letter:

2) NO NEWSPAPER LEFT BEHIND! Check the list of newspapers to which others have committed to sending letters. Remember, our goal is to get at least one letter published in every newspaper in the country. So if the paper you have chosen is already well covered, please select another. No newspaper left behind! :)

Note: please do not use "The" e.g. enter "Boston Globe" rather than "The Boston Globe"). Please enter a separate submission for each newspaper to which you will write a letter.
